We belive cycling can be more equitable, accessible, & fun for everyone

Here’s how our shop is working towards that goal

From the community, for the community.

Co-founders, childhood friends, and bike industry veterans Nick and Jonah started Stay True Cycles in 2019 to support the community that turned them into who they are.

After being head mechanic at Mike’s Bikes for many years, Nick opened up Stay True Cycles to have the freedom of his own shop.

Jonah has been working on bikes since he just 12 years old, and prior to opening Stay True worked and managed bike shops Around the Bay Area, Canada, and Brooklyn, NY.

Regular Shop Rides for all types of biking and riders!

Let’s be honest, the bike world is not as inclusive as it should be. White men are much more represented than other genders, races, and ethnicities. In addition, biking can be expensive, which creates class discrimination. We want to change the culture of biking to be more inclusive so that everyone can enjoy the freedom of cycling.

Do you stand by your repairs/service?

We are proud to offer quality repairs, at a reasonable price, and a fast turnaround. That being said, we are also human and sometimes we can miss the mark and will honor any repair done within 60 days.*

We reserve the right to revoke this policy if we find behavior to be unbecoming*

Do you include service for newly purchased bikes?

Do you offer home delivery?

We offer home delivery for a one time fee of $150 within a 5 mile radius of the shop.

How does your demo program work?

Great question! We offer demos of some of our models so you can try before you buy. We charge $150 per day or $275 a weekend and these fees go towards any purchase of a bike from us. All you need is valid ID and a matching credit card at pick up and we'll hold a copy these items until the bike is returned. If you crash and damage the bike you will be responsible for replacing any damaged parts.
